Everest Base camp trek is Famous for its spectacular mountain peaks and
loyalty and friendliness of its inhabitants(the Sherpas), the Everest region(Khumbu)
is one of the most popular destination for tourist in Nepal. While trekking is possible
in this area the whole year round, the best time to visit are from the beginning of
March to mid May and from the beginning of Sep to mid Nov.
The trek also known as Everest Valley trek is ideal for those who aspire to see
the Everest but could not take strenuous walking to Kalapatthar or Everest base
camp. We fly to Lukla with spectacular views of the mountains and ascend the Dudh
Kosi valley to the Sherpa settlement of Namche Bazaar (3440 m). A leisurely walking
through the lovely forests and fascinating Sherpa villages to the famous Buddhist
monastery of Tengboche is rewarded with the views of Everest soaring behind
Lhotse & Nuptse & stunning peak of Amadablam.

Detailed Trip Itinerary
Day 1:Arrive Kathmandu Arrival in Kathmandu. Capital of Nepal. We will meet you at the airport and drive you
to your hotel, just relax for the rest of the day to recover from your long
journey.Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2:Sightseeing and Shopping Shopping for your trek and Kathmandu sightseeing followed by: Pashupatinath,
Boudhanath Stupa, Swaymbhunath and Patan Durbar Square, cultural and historical
sights of the Kathmandu Valley. Overnight stay at Kathmandu hotel.
Day 3: Flight to Lukla (45 minutes) and trek to Phakding(8563ft). Early morning fly to lukla and meet your trekking guide.
Trek starts,Walk through well developed stone steps footpath for 3 hrs to reach
phakding you will be crossing the short suspension bridge and Ghat village. first day
of your Everest Base Camp Trek. Overnight stay at Basic Teahouse.
Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar 11286ft. Namche Bazaar is around 6hrs walk from Phakding, after crossing the Dudh-koshi
suspension bridge, the walk is easy and pleasant with short uphill and down-hill
climb. Rocky and dirt tracks, stone steps, mostly uphill, gradual with some steep
inclines. Spectacular approaching views of Namche Bazaar which is full of trekkers
and potters, snow capped peaks and the river valley. The milky waters of the Dudh
Kosi River. Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 05 Namche Bazaar. (Acclimatization day.) This day is reserved for acclimatization. Go for a short hike on Hilly, grassy trails,
some steep inclines and flat tracks.view Everest, Lhotse, Lhotse Shar, Taboche
Peak and Ama Dablam from here. Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche.(12664ft) Walk through River bank path, some steep inclines, some flat and some short
descents. On the way visit Tyangboche monastery. The Lamas and Monks in the
stunning Tyangboche Monastery, ornate wall hangings and a 20 foot statue of Lord
Buddha.you may also catch an opportunity to see Himalayan Thar and Danphe
Pheasant (National bird of Nepal). Overnight stay at Teahouse.
Day 7: Tyangboche to Dingboche.(14304 ft) After Breakfast begin the trek towards Dingboche, today you will be walking for 5hrs
through Rocky uphill tracks, stone steps, a gentle riverbank trail. From here we can
see Lhotse, Mt.Everest,Island Peak, Ama Dablam. The beautiful location of
Dingboche under Ama Dablam, Overnight stay at Basic Teahouse.
Day 8: Hike to Nagartsang and back to Dingboche (16667ft) Acclimatization day. walk through Rocky and steep inclines for 4-5 hrs, with
Remarkable view of Makalu and Lhotse and by evening back to your teahouse at
Dingboche. Enjoy the magnificent views of mountains on your walk, Overnight stay
at Basic Teahouse.
Day 9: Dingboche to Lobuche.(16207ft)After breakfast Walk Some steep inclines and rocky tracks to north for next 40 min to
reach mani stupa .The magnificent view of the Khumbu Icefall and Pumori amongst
other beautiful Himalayan mountains. You would have a pleasant walk for the next
one and a half to two hours from Pheriche till you reach the small wooded bridge
over the river of Khumbu glacier. Also see the Memorial sight for people who sadly
lost their lives attempting to summit Everest. Overnight stay at Basic Teahouse.
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep to EBC and back to Gorakshep (17388ft) Today is your day. Walk of an hour is gradual up to the valley and leads to a grassy
field. As you go ahead on your way you can see the icy- glacial ponds and icebergs
which lie below the Khumbu glacier. Walking through rocky path and downhill for
hour, you reach Gorakshep. Trek to EBC creates confusion on path because of the
movement of glaciers, don’t force yourself , follow your guide to EBC. But once you
On reaching to EBC after a total of 7 hours walk, view of the Khumbu ice fall will
make your walk worth it. Follow back to Gorakshep sunset views from your Gorak
Shep is Amazing. Overnight stay at teahouse.
Day 11: Kala Patthar and Pheriche (18192ft) After breakfast climb up to Kalapatthar,walk Steep, rocky climb to Kala Patthar and a
gentle descent over rocky and some well defined paths to Pheriche with views of
Everest and the surrounding Himalayas. The Everest from this point looks closer
than you will imagine. Enjoy the most spectacular, panoramic views from the top of
Kala Patthar. overnight stay at Basic Teahouse.
Day 12: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar. From today we will be heading backwards. Walk from today is easy and faster as will
be walking downwards to lower elevations for next 7hrs to Namche Bazaar.
